Kick-off meeting in Burgos ( Spain ) – 1 st – 2 nd March 2007

On 1 st and 2 nd March 2007, the parties of the PROBIO Project gathered in Burgos for the first launch meeting of the project. There were present the following representatives:

The meeting started with the typical greetings and introductory session including the presentation of all partners and the adoption of the work agenda for the next two days. One task in the agenda was a Press Conference chaired by the President of the Burgos Provincial Government, Mr. Vicente Orden Vigara. This Press Conference started with the signing of the internal Consortia Agreement between the eight partners .   The main local newspapers (Diario de Burgos, El Correo de Burgos, La Palabra de Burgos), TV Channels (Canal 54, TV Burgos) and radio networks (Cadena SER, Radio Arlanzón) were present at the conference.

An overall presentation of the Project with a detailed description of each work package and a general presentation of the financial aspects were carried during the meeting. The partners also discussed different issues of the Project such us the Coordination Plan, the subcontracting tasks and the corporative image of the Project. All the partners showed entire disposition in order to develop the task assigned satisfactorily as well as to collaborate with the rest of the partners.
